New and Now Booking

Booksih Hooks and Edits that turn your words into Viral Gold!

Welcome, Authors!

Let’s be honest—no author finishes their book thinking, “Wow, marketing this is going to be a breeze!”

Most of us sit there, staring at the endless possibilities (and pitfalls) of book promotion, wondering, “How on earth am I going to make this work?”

TikTok? Algorithms? Engagement rates? It’s like learning a foreign language—and that’s where I come in.

What is the difference between Chrysanthemum and a PA Service?

I do not offer traditional Indie PA services, which are known in the mainstream business world as "VA's."

In the Indie community we have kind of combined 2 job descriptions and pasted them into one. PA/VA, and PR agent/firm. We refer to them all as "PA's" however, as a former corporate business employee I feel like the services I offer are more aligned to a PR (public relations) firm/agent.

I do not go around in various groups on facebook and other social media to promote your book for you using premade graphics, I do not go into various groups on social media, and use graphics *I* designed to bring attention to your books. I do not join groups to share your books around. I do not go out of my way to create spreadsheets, forms, or handle communications for authors in regards to ARC, BETA, Alpha etc.

What I DO is read your book, find the marketable parts, and design content that will help your book get into the hands of the readers who are actively looking for it. This is the job of a Public Relations Agent/Public Relations Firm. So while, you may see me use the term "PA/VA" because in the Indie world the two jobs have been combined - my experience and aide I offer falls broadly under the PR Marketing Firm job description.

A public relations marketing firm for indie authors, like Chrysanthemum Bookish, specializes in elevating the visibility, credibility, and marketability of self-published writers. My role as founder and creative director includes designing strategic video content, managing brand image, and implementing platform-specific campaigns to boost reader engagement and book sales. I work closely with authors to craft a cohesive online presence that aligns with their voice and genre while navigating trends in the ever-evolving digital landscape. My ultimate goal is to help indie authors build loyal readerships, increase book discoverability, and create sustainable marketing systems that grow their careers long-term.

Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Elizabeth! You can learn all about my journey as an indie author and marketing enthusiast on the About page, but here’s the short version:

I specialize in the marketing, analysis, and creative strategies that most authors dread. I’m not a self-proclaimed marketing guru or an “expert.” What I am is a fellow indie author who’s worked with over 60 writers, helping them grow their platforms, refine their goals, and achieve real results.

Do I always have the BEST results? Well no - that's what keeps me from calling myself an "expert" this is a learning experience, but I guarantee I will put my best foot forward and more often than not (about 90% of the time) I am successful in getting a social account to "active" and yeilding a great ROI.

Why Work With Me?

Here’s the deal:

  • Experience that Matters: I’ve helped dozens of authors elevate their social media presence and connect with their readers.
  • Honest Communication: If I can help you, I’ll give it my all. If I can’t, I’ll be upfront about it. I value your time as much as my own. My family is always my top priority, so I may take 24-48 hours to get back with you, but as long as you stay communicative with me - I'll be communicative with you.  I recommend a 90 day trial, before really making a decision on whether or not an account is successful. Sometimes it may take that long just to get an account to returning an excellent ROI especially when you are paying someone else (me) to run the account for you. I will work with you, and we will adjust our strategy for YOUR account as much as it takes to get our goals met!
  • Collaborative Support: My goal is to make marketing feel less overwhelming and more accessible, so you can focus on what you do best—writing incredible stories, while also growing your community, building your readership, and drawing in page reads/sells for you.
  • Reliability: I'm not going to lie to you, or sugar coat things. In reality social media is a fickle creature. For some it works, for others - it's extremely difficult to get off the ground. Certain genres preform better, and there is nothing I can do about that. All I can do, is try my absolute best to help you - and your amazing books preform! I will not sell you a $1500 service and guarantee a result, there is no such thing! I cannot guarantee results. However, I can guarantee that *I* will put my best foot forward for you, and *I* will tell you if I don't see it working. The genre's that are "hot" right now on social media are whychoose, knotty, omegaverse, MM, Dark Romance, and some subgenres of Contemporary. What is not preforming as well are historical romance, small town, and most m/f pairings that have none of the top preforming subgenres. That doesn't mean it "WILL NOT" work, it just means its not as easy and will require extra effort on our part to find what will work for you and your brand the best!

Marketing and editing a book takes effort, creativity, and strategy, and I’m here to help you navigate the process with confidence.

Let’s get your book into the hands of the readers who are waiting for it.

I hired Elizabeth in Jan of 2025 to promote my MM Rom. She warned me with M/M tiktok can get wack and it may take 90 days to see results. TBH after that convo I figured it would lead to nothing. To my shock she took my rank 817 mm romance and got it in the top 10 and kept it there for months. I am currently netting over $225 a day and I owe it all to tiktok management 'cause that's all I'm doing. (6mo in)

Editing Services - I love working with Elizabeth! She's always enthusiastic about her work. And she realizes this manuscript is your baby. I am learning from her as I edit my final draft of all her suggestions. Definitely 5-stars. Hands down.

You will not go wrong with hiring Elizabeth! This woman is dedicated to making your work shine. I've used her Tiktok services for a month now, and I cannot believe the results! I used to only get 1k views on a good day on my own. Ever since I handed over my Tiktok to her, my views have skyrocketed! She's amazing and worth every penny! She knows what she is doing and is in contact with me every step of the way.

Beth reached out to me and asked me if I'd be willing to write a review on her website. I don't know wht to say other than I hired her to run my tiktok back in December. I have seen a crazy amount of sale through during that time. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much as far as sales I was just hoping to grow my author socials some. She had a good reputation in the community best I could tell even though I didn't really know her myself. I took the advise of a good friend of mine who told me that Beth had taken her tiktok from point A all the way to amazon top 10 in her category pretty quickly after being hired on. I was skeptical but as I said I was fine with not really getting any sales as long as my numbers were showing some activity. In this gig it seems like the more people follow you ever where the more likely it is that someone will eventually buy something you put out there. Rather like throwing shit on a shingle ahahahaha anyway, I hired Beth uh not as an editor as I'm sure is clear by my horrible englishing, but she has done an amazing job with my tiktok and I am grateful that she took the time out of her day to explain to me why my seo on my book blurb wasn't working as well. The combo has helped me see over quadruple my best ever consistenly since January. I want to have her take over my other pen name, but I want to wait til I get out another book first. She is sweet, kind, and will make sure that she puts effort into your stuff. This is the first time I've hired anyone I felt like cared like she does in this industry. That's all i can think to put in this review, but I highly recommend Beth!

Working with Elizabeth at Chrysanthemum Bookish was like taking a deep breath after holding it for way too long. I was nervous to hand over my manuscript—this thing I’d poured months (okay, years) of my soul into—but the second she started communicating with me, I knew I was in good hands.

Her developmental edits were exactly what I didn’t know I needed. She didn’t just fix things—she saw my story. She understood what I was trying to do and helped me actually do it. She gave thoughtful, honest feedback that made me feel seen, supported, and excited to dive back in instead of discouraged.

She pointed out structural issues, pacing problems, even emotional beats that needed a little more punch—but always in a way that felt kind and collaborative. It was like having a super smart, super bookish best friend in my corner, cheering me on and handing me the tools I needed to level up.

The edits were clean, the communication was easy, and her turnaround time was way faster than I expected. I walked away not only with a better book, but with way more confidence in myself as a writer.

If you are looking for your editor—this is your sign. Hire her (or not, but I think you should!)
— One very grateful author who will definitely be back

Hiring Beth for a developmental edit was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made for my book—and my sanity. She didn’t just point out plot holes (though, yep, those were definitely there), she helped me see my story in a whole new way. Like a story therapist, but way cooler.

Her feedback was clear, kind, and totally on point. She asked the tough questions—like 'why is this character doing this?' or 'does this scene actually move the plot forward?'—but always with a vibe that felt super supportive, not judgy. She made me laugh alot! Plus, she somehow knew what I meant to say, even when I wasn’t saying it well. Wizardry, I tell you.

If your draft is a hot mess with good intentions (like mine was), Beth will help you turn it into something sharp, heartfelt, and ready to shine. 10/10 would absolutely work with Beth of Chrysanthemum again!

I hired Beth to do a copy/line edit on last minute notice. My previous editor had been taking forever and I didn't have time to keep waiting on her to get back with me. Beth took over the project, and got it back to me in way less time than I expected. The edits were phenomenal and I felt like she really listened to my needs and took time to incorporate them into her edits. She really clarified my voice which I needed. I thank her from the bottom of my heart, and I recommend her wholeheartedly! If you are on the fence, take a chance on her.

I hired Mrs. Adams to do a detailed tiktok hook pull folder for me. Within 2 weeks of using it, I could tell a notable difference. I will be using chrysanthemum in my future to help me market my book to let me be able to reach more readers in the future. Even tho I ordered just a file of hooks I am using them on instagram too and they have helped me to gain followers, and my posts are getting more likes. Give her a chance if you are on the fence, I highly recommend her.

Beth's attention to detail and thoughtful feedback was much appreciated. It was a pleasure having her on board. I feel much more confident in the manuscript thanks to her editing expertise. I have no hesitation in recommending Beth for future work.
